On June 23, 1996, Rahul Dravid missed out on joining an exclusive club at Lord's in his debut Test.

Dravid fell for 95 on the fourth day of the Lord's Test vs England. If he had made the 100 he would have joined those players with Test debut tons at the 'Home of Cricket'.

Dravid resumed his innings on 56 not out and after Sourav Ganguly's debut century, looked set to join the club as well.

Dravid's 95 came in 267 balls and consisted of six fours.

He may have missed a Test 100 on debut but Dravid went on to score 36 of them between 1997 and 2011.

A Test century at Lord's eluded him until 2011 when he made 103 not out vs England. By then he was a seasoned veteran in the twilight of his career.

In 286 innings from 164 games with 32 not outs, Dravid scored 13,288 runs at an average of 52.31. He hit 36 100s and 63 50s with a top score of 270 vs Pakistan in 2004.
